21 Months'

Wow. I've been looking at pictures of Tayler from a year ago. It doesn't seem possible that he's already a little boy. A year ago he was still drinking a bottle and couldn't even walk. This season in his life has been so much fun. He learns new words every day and is getting really good at communicating. Some of my favorite words he says are flower, cracker, blueberry, hi, bye bye, bike, night night and blanket. The way he says them is adorable. :) He is very friendly and talks to everyone and everyone adores him. Tayler still loves being outside. We go to the park almost every day. Right now we are trying to locate the perfect park for his 2nd birthday. Getting so close. (Which means I'm getting closer to 30. Gulp. We will leave that topic alone.) His favorite toys are his cars. He has a whole tub and could play with them all day. He loves real cars too. His saying when he sees a cool car is "whoa" haha. Which brings me to remember that daddy's favorite saying is "oh cool." His favorite movie is 101 Dalmatians. I think in the last 2 months I've watched it 101 times. lol. He will quote the movie while he's watching it, bark with the dogs, meow with the kitty and laugh. It's way too cute. Last week we went to VBS and Tayler loved the music. He did the dance moves along with the older kids and learned the saying Trust God. Which he repeats with the arms movements all the time now. So sweet. He's growing so tall and already wears a 2T. I can't keep shoes long enough for him to wear them out. He outgrows his shirts height wise within a month. But that means he's healthy and thriving. Plus he's a boy and boys don't come with all the accessories that girls do. So he's way cheaper. :) He loves to eat. Mostly fruits, vegetables and meats. He's not too interested in sweets and junk food, which I don't offer him anyways. I know there's more to say but right now I can't think. As for the summer, we don't have much planned. A few trips here and there. Mostly just hanging out and enjoying the outside. We have gone bike riding in the black hills and fishing with the grandparents. We haven't made it to the pool yet but it's in our future plans. Tayler and I are also doing the summer reading program at the library. When we went to the kick-off last week Tayler won the door prize, which is the shirt he's holding below. It was so much fun to see him win. Every 75 minutes he reads he gets to pick a prize. The more he reads the bigger the prize. Fun! Enjoy the pictures.
