We are home. Home Sweet Home. But I do admit, I would rather be in Florida still. :) This trip had a lot of firsts for Tayler and he did so well with it all! It was a lot of long days for a baby so right now he is catching up on his sleep. We stayed in a really nice condo in Disney and spent a day each at all the parks. We also went to Daytona Beach for a day and Universal Studios for a day. Tayler got to see a lot of fun things and there isn't time or room to tell it all. So, I will give you the readers digest version. In Animal Kingdom Tayler loved the safari ride, with all the animals up close and real! He also danced to and loved the Lion King Broadway Show. He was so into it. I thought we would have to watch it all day. In Epcot, he really enjoyed the cars and had to practice driving every one. Magic Kingdom had a lot of fun things for Tayler. His favorites were the Winnie the Pooh ride, the Mickey 3d show and seeing all the characters walk around the park. Hollywood Studios had a fun Toy Story ride and a car stunt show that he really loved. I think his all time favorite was a mickey mouse clubhouse live show that we were a part of the audience. He just couldn't believe he was there watching his favorite show in person. He also loved the parades. They occurred randomly all day every day and he would dance and get so excited. Even now when he watches the video and dances. We did get our pictures with Pluto, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pooh and Tigger. He enjoyed seeing the characters! Tayler did very well on the plane rides. The first one he played and didn't notice anything different. :-) The second, he slept almost the whole way back. I was very proud of how well he handled traveling. We were gone 10 days and in those 10 days I feel like he grew into a little boy. He's taller and heavier and talks more and is so responsive. He also came home with 2 new teeth. Well, I think that sums it up. Here are a selection of pictures from the trip.

17 months
I have to do Tayler's 17 month blog a little earlier this month because we will be on vacation!!! Tayler is doing so good. He's been a little grumpy lately though and it was driving me wild not knowing why. Well, last week he got his first molar! That makes 7 teeth altogether. 17 months old with 7 teeth. It sure is painful for the little guy. And if my mommy intuition is correct he's working on another molar, if not 2 more, right now. So I am packing plenty of clove and Tylenol. (Clove is for numbing) ;) This will be Tayler's first airplane ride. And only my 5th or so. I still get nervous. And this time even more so because I am wondering what Tayler will think. I am thinking and praying good thoughts. Let's see. Tayler is really good at feeding himself now. In fact, he doesn't let me spoon feed him. If I have his permission then its fine. Ha. This toddler and his opinions. I just laugh because it's all part of growing up and becoming an individual. ;) He eats very healthy. Actually Tayler is gluten free, dairy free and egg free. He eats a lot of fruits, veggies, organic meats and grains. I love that he is not picky and will eat anything I put in front of him. (With some exceptions of course.) He is achieving all the milestones for his age and is growing nice and tall. He walks like his daddy, loves to say the words "ball" "ducky" "bye bye" "more" "mom" "dad" and "hi" He makes lots of sounds effects and noises too. It seems each day he adds a new word or sound to his vocabulary. He still loves books and has daddy and I read him at least 10 before bed each night. He's a big help around the house. He loves to organize and put away his toys (which mommy loves) and he's really into sweeping and helping with the dishwasher. Well, that's all the news from the Dunlap house. I will blog after our vacation. Here are some new pictures. Enjoy!!
