6 months and 2 weeks today!

Time goes so fast! Sorry I didn't post about the doctor visit. Tayler got the last of his series of shots, which is awesome! So at his next visit he does not have to get any shots! wohoo! He is a trooper though and only cries for a second. He weighed exactly 15lbs and was 26 inches long. That's a little under for his age but the doctor wasn't concerned at all. Everything else checked out good. Tayler can now sit alone and loves to do so all the time. He can roll over, around, sideways...pretty much anywhere. I'll put him to bed in his crib one direction and when I wake up he's the opposite. hehe.  He also sleeps curled up on his side. He is beginning to hold himself up on all fours and could possibly take off crawling very soon! I think we need to start baby-proofing the house! Tayler is also eating solids two-three times a day. He has tried avocado, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, squash, peas, bananas, green beans and plums. He prefers fruit but will eat a little of his veggies! Just like his parents. So far no allergies or reactions to the food which is great! The doctor told us we could switch him off of his hypo-allergenic formula to good start if we wanted. It's half the price, which would be nice! But I think I will keep him on it for a little while longer just to be safe! I do not want to deal with his rashes again!! He talks all the time now! Learning how is vocals work makes for a loud interesting day at my house! He has a few favorite stuffed animals now; his ducky, bunny and puppy! He loves to carry them around the house! So everything is fairly peaceful and wonderful here at the Dunlap house! I do think that he is teething and should get a tooth really soon! He's fussy and chews like crazy!! SIX MONTHS

My little man is six months old today!! He has a doctors appointment Friday so I will post his weight and whatever the doctor says then! Today I just have his six month pictures!!

The Firsts of Many

Tayler is going to be 6 months next week, but I had some pictures I wanted to share now. Tayler is doing great! We all are. I'm finally getting into a rhythm with him and we have so much fun together! It's tiring and hard sometimes but I wouldn't trade him for anything! :-) We have started him back on solids twice a day. We tried sweet potato first and loved it. Now we are trying peas. Not such a hit but he eats a little! I have been making the food for him and I really enjoy that! I think we are going to try pumpkin next! It's fun to feed him and watch him eat! He's really started to grow and every day he does something new! Recently he has started to talk more....so cute!
