A Day in the Life of Tayler

Hey everyone! Tayler is doing great! I have a feeling he is well over 9lbs now and is changing in looks every day! He is becoming more aware of everything around him and is so fun to watch. Recently he found his tongue, so he is always sticking it out and rolling it around in his mouth. Mommy thinks it precious! Speaking of, he really is beginning to know who mommy and daddy are. As soon as he hears our voices he turns to find us! He loves it when we sing to him now as well! Tayler now spends his days eating, sleeping, and enjoying a few more alert hours. All his newborn clothes are tight when he stretches out....which is sad but yay for growing! Tayler also is becoming a great sleeper at night! He only wakes us up one time to eat and goes right back to sleep! What a big boy! That's all for now...here are some recent pictures! Enjoy!

On my way to Rapid City...staring at my moosey!

I'm getting sleepy!

Playing with Daddy

I love my baths!!

You can't see it good here, but I have 2 webbed toes on each foot!

Daddy's Drama King

Daddy and Tayler have a special relationship. (Other then the fact that they look and act exactly alike!) Tayler gets snuggles and soft touches with mommy...but with daddy..it's all fun and games! Tayler is a very strong little boy so daddy already gets to play with him. They recreate movie scenes, sing songs, ride horses, joke around and make mommy laugh alot! Those two are always up to something. Many of our family and friends tell us that Tayler is a drama king, and I would have to agree. He over-dramatizes every facial expression, sound, and body movement. Perfect for daddy's imagination! (Daddy and Tayler do share special quiet moments too!) Moral of the story..Tayler loves his daddy!!

Mommy's Little Pumpkin

I bought this really cute outfit at target! It is so soft..and sports the phrase...Mommy's little Pumpkin! Which is so true...and don't forget how much I love Fall...so it is fitting and perfect! I am a stay home Mom right now and so Tayler and I get to spend the whole day together! We love to sleep-in in the morning and chill in our pjs! After breakfast we bundle up and go for a nice long walk. Usually outside...so we can look at the beautiful Fall colors. Then throughout the day we run errands...go see Grandma Pam at work, take naps, snuggle and of course eat! With Mommy Tayler's day is structured and relaxing...then Daddy comes home! lol! But more on Daddy tomorrow! Just wanted to put up a new picture and say hello to everyone!!

1 Month Picture

Tayler at one month, he now weighs 8 lbs!

Happy One Month baby boy!

Our little boy is already a month old today!! He is doing very well! Growing like a weed and learning something new everyday! Right now he recognizes his families voices...especially Mommy, Daddy and Grandma Pam! He is beginning to reach for objects, play with his hands and tongue and loves his tummy time! Bobby and I are getting adjusted to our new schedule and life. It's different going from a couple to a family...but we love it! Tayler is such a good little boy...we couldn't have asked for anything better. He sleeps very well at night, loves to eat (such a boy) and is a snuggler! Here are some new pictures!

The craziest but best month of my life!

Tayler Michael was born September 14, 2010 at 9:32 a.m. after 30 hours of natural labor and then an emergency c-section! It was the scariest, most painful moment of my life...but one of the best. He weighed 6lbs 13oz. and was 19 1/2 inches long. Tayler struggled with Jaundice the first week of his life but easily got over it after a billy blanket and some formula. After that he has been a healthy vibrant little boy! These are some catch up pictures of his first month! Tayler also took his first road trip to Tulsa Oklahoma when he was 3 weeks old! But Uncle Ryan and Aunt Annie's wedding was well worth the trip! He did very well on the 15 hour car ride! (But not without the help of all his grandmas and grandpas!!!)
